What is Jaundice ?
Jaundice, causes your skin and the white portion of the eyes to turn yellow. Excess production of Bilirubin causes Jaundice. As the red blood cells break down, the body reproduces new cells to replace them. A state where the liver is not able to control the breakdown of red blood cells, bilirubin piles in the body and makes your skin look yellow.
Jaundice, is a condition in which Bilirubin (compound released by breakdown of haemoglobin from red blood cells) gets circulated in the blood. The excess production of bilirubin causes the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes in mouth also to turn yellowish in color.
